I just spent my last day in Bogota, and got to see many things that I missed last time. I explored Museum Botero, which houses the art collections of Fernando Botero, as well as many other well known artists (Picasso, anyone?). The museum was architecturally stunning, and the perfect place to take pictures.
Botero is known for painting his images with rather large people and objects, and I got my own tiny Botero print to take home!
Here we have our Picasso’s!
A few of other New Western volunteers traveled to Bogota with me, and we decided to get some tattoos. I got the word “Fernweh,” meaning wanderlust in German, in my mom’s handwriting.
I’m sure going to miss these gals. Thanks for the adventures!
